This article explains our shipping options, order processing times, signature requirements, freight and white-glove delivery for espresso machines, and how to handle lost/damaged shipments.
Order Processing
Order cutoff: Orders placed by 1:00 PM Pacific, Mon–Fri, ship same day (excluding holidays).
Processing time: 1 business day for most orders; 2–3 days for freight/white-glove deliveries.
Address changes: Contact support before shipment. After shipment, carrier reroute fees may apply.
Shipping Options (US only)
Standard Ground (3–5 business days): Flat $7.95 under $75; free on consumables over $75; machines ship free.
Expedited 2-Day: Calculated at checkout.
Overnight: Calculated at checkout.
Freight (espresso machines >70 lb or crated): Scheduled curbside delivery with liftgate.
White-Glove (select ZIP codes): Uncrating, placement, packaging removal. No plumbing or electrical work.
Signature & Insurance
Signature required: Orders over $500 and all espresso machines.
Insurance: Included on all machine shipments.
Shipping Restrictions
PO boxes: No delivery for machines or oversized items.
Alaska/Hawaii: Ground not available for machines; air options only (rates apply).
International: Currently unavailable.
Lost or Damaged Shipments
Damaged on arrival: Note damage with the driver and photograph packaging and unit immediately. Contact support within 48 hours.
Lost package: If tracking shows no movement for 7 days (ground) or 3 days (air), contact support to investigate and replace/refund as needed.
Backorders & Preorders
Backorders: We’ll email an estimated ship date and offer cancellation at any time before shipment.
Split shipments: We may split orders at no extra cost to avoid delays.
FAQs
Q: Can I waive the signature?
A: For orders under $500, yes (at your risk). Not available for machines.
Q: Do you ship beans with machines together?
A: We often split to protect freshness.
